On May 25, Hainan’s scenic Qingshui Bay marked a milestone with the grand opening of the Kimpton and Indigo Hotels—an 83,000 sqm flagship project by Inner Mongolia Tianyu Group, designed by YANG Design Group after nearly three years of development.
Nearly 500 distinguished guests attended, including Tianyu Group Chairman Liu Lijun, Hainan Zhenbo Real Estate Chairman Liu Yulun, InterContinental Hotels Group Greater China COO Qiu You, industry leaders, media, and YANG Design Group’s top executives.
At the opening ceremony, Liu Yulun, Chairman of Zhenbo Real Estate, said the Kimpton and Indigo Hotels in Qingshui Bay represent a luxurious living standard embodying "a city’s landscape, a lifetime’s impression," adding vibrant value to beautiful Lingshui. Liu Lijun, Chairman of Tianyu Group, praised YANG Design Group’s professionalism and innovation in the project and expressed hope for continued cooperation and mutual success.
As flagship resorts in Qingshui Bay, the Kimpton and Indigo Hotels were carefully crafted by YANG Design Group, which fully participated in architectural renovation, interior design, soft furnishings, and art installation—nearly three years of precise, tailor-made work.
At this dual-branded resort, Kimpton draws inspiration from the "Child of the Sea," creating an artistic retreat blending avant-garde aesthetics and social play. Indigo, rooted in Lingshui’s Danzhou culture, shares local neighborhood stories. The two hotels complement each other, harmonizing trendy luxury with cultural storytelling.
The opening of Kimpton and Indigo Qingshui Bay brings an international luxury lifestyle to Lingshui, Hainan, marking another milestone for YANG Design Group in high-end resorts. Moving forward, YANG will partner with leading brands and global owners to create a new chapter for Chinese design in the global travel landscape.
